Continuous Confetti Creating Epic Moments

Safety First: Essential Guidelines for Operation

General Safety Precautions

Before using your continuous confetti cannon, carefully read and understand all instructions in this guide.

Launch Area Considerations

Always aim the confetti cannon upwards and away from yourself and any bystanders. Be aware of potential obstructions like lights, wires, or low ceilings. Maintain a safe distance from your face and eyes when operating.

CO2 Tank Handling and Safety

Before loading and operating the confetti cannon, firmly secure the CO2 tank using straps. This crucial step prevents accidental movement or detachment of the pressurized tank during use, ensuring safe and stable operation.

Confetti Loading Best Practices

For optimal continuous confetti flow, ensure the bulk confetti hopper is filled appropriately. Avoid overpacking, which can cause jams and impede the continuous flow of confetti.

Storage Guidelines

Keep your continuous confetti cannon and confetti in a cool, dry place, away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.

Setting Up Your Continuous Confetti Cannon: Step-by-Step

Important Setup Considerations

Clear the Area

Before you begin, choose a location for the road case/hopper that is free from any obstructions overhead or in the direction you want the confetti to fly. This will ensure an unimpeded flow and maximum coverage.

Unpacking

Open the top of the road case and carefully remove the hose and the horn.

Continuous Confetti Cannon Attach the Horn

Attach the Horn

Place the horn securely on top of the hopper. Ensure that the CO2 input fitting on the horn is facing towards the rear of the unit.

Continuous Confetti Cannon Attach Wing Nuts

Secure the Horn

Use the provided wing nuts to firmly attach the horn to the hopper. Hand-tighten these wing nuts.

Continuous Confetti Cannon Connect Hose

Connect the Hose

Take the hose and hand-tighten one of its fittings onto the CO2 input located on the horn.

Wrench Tightening

Using a wrench, give the hose fitting connected to the horn an additional half turn to ensure a secure connection. Do not over-tighten, as this could damage the fitting.

Continuous Confetti Cannon Close the Ball Valve

Close the Ball Valve

Locate the ball valve on the unit and ensure it is in the closed position. Typically, this means the handle is perpendicular to the direction of the hose.

Continuous Confetti Cannon Secure CO2 Tank

Prepare the CO2 Tank

Make sure your CO2 siphon tank is standing upright and is properly secured to prevent it from falling over.

Continuous Confetti Cannon Insert the Washer

Insert the Washer

Place the white plastic washer inside the CO2 nut (the fitting on the end of the hose that will connect to the CO2 tank).

Continuous Confetti Cannon Connect CO2 Tank

Connect to CO2 Tank

Carefully tighten the CO2 nut onto the valve outlet of the CO2 siphon tank.

Continuous Confetti Cannon Secure CO2 Tank Connection

Secure Connection to CO2 Tank

Use a wrench to carefully tighten the nut that secures the connection to the CO2 tank.

Continuous Confetti Cannon Open the Valve

Open the CO2 Tank Valve

Slowly open the main valve on the CO2 siphon tank.

Loading Confetti for Continuous Flow:

Best Practices for Loading

For continuous confetti deployment, carefully load your bulk confetti into the cannon's hopper, ensuring it's evenly distributed. To achieve the optimal continuous confetti effect – a sustained, high-volume stream – use high-quality, uniformly sized confetti and avoid any clumping during the loading process. This ensures a smooth and consistent feed into the powerful air stream generated by the system.

Pour Confetti

Carefully pour your desired amount of confetti into the hopper.

Fluff the Confetti

Use your hands to gently fluff the confetti inside the hopper. This will help to loosen it up and ensure a smooth, consistent flow when the cannon is activated.

Operating Your Confetti Cannon: Unleashing the Effect

Ready to Blast! Initial Operation

Your continuous flow confetti cannon is now charged with CO2 and ready to unleash a spectacular confetti shower!

Initiate Confetti Flow

When you're ready for the effect, turn the ball valve to the open position. The confetti will immediately begin to shoot out.

Continuous Confetti Cannon Open the Valve

Control the Flow

You have precise control over the confetti output by adjusting the ball valve opening.

  • Opening the valve just a little will create a slower, more controlled stream.
  • Opening the valve fully will result in a powerful blast of confetti, accompanied by a visible cold steam coming from the horn.

Extending the Confetti Shot (Pulsing Technique)

For a more prolonged effect and to cover a wider area, you can use a pulsing technique:

Blast

Open the ball valve briefly to shoot a burst of confetti into the air.

Close

Close the valve while the confetti is still floating and spreading.

Repeat

Open the valve again for another blast. Repeat this process as needed. Keep in mind that this cannon discharges approximately 1 pound of confetti per second when the valve is fully open.

Increasing the Confetti Flow (Manual Assistance)

For an even greater and more consistent flow of confetti:

Activate Flow

Begin the confetti flow by opening the ball valve.

Manually Fluff

While the unit is operating, reach into the hopper and gently fluff the confetti with your hand. This helps prevent clumping and allows the confetti to feed more easily into the horn.

Enjoy creating a memorable and visually stunning experience with your continuous flow confetti cannon!

Tips for Best Performance

  • For the best and most visually impactful results, use our premium, high-quality, confetti.
  • Ensure the confetti is loaded loosely into the hopper.
  • You can fluff the confetti with your hands before opening the valve to help the confetti to flow through the horn.

Troubleshooting

Confetti stops flowing

Check for clumps of confetti that can clog the horn and impede the flow of confetti.

Confetti begins to slow

Only open the valve enough to start the flow of confetti. If you open the valve completely the unit can begin to ice and cause the confetti to become wet and stick to the horn creating a clog.

Understanding Your Confetti Cannon's Components

Material Information

The body of the continuous confetti cannon is built into a road case. The horn is made from aluminium. The high-quality pressurized hose and ball valve are designed for years of reliable use. Consistent performance and durability are hallmarks of our continuous confetti cannons. Our tissue paper confetti is biodegradable and flameproof. Our sparkling mylar confetti is flameproof.

Power Source

This continuous confetti cannon is powered by a 50 lb liquid CO2 siphon tank, readily obtainable from any Airgas location. The CO2 tank serves as the sole propellant source, requiring only an operator to control the unit and trigger the confetti launch by opening the valve.
